Mopar's Hitch mounted Bike Carrier is designed to carry two bikes. Both the Bike Carrier and the attachment have a locking devise that allow for the bikes to be secure. With sturdy construction the Mopar’s hitch mounted Bike Carrier is designed to fit the Mopar’s factory or the accessory installed Tow Hitch. The Carrier installs and removes in seconds and features a “Tilt-Down” design for easy load and unloads of your bike(s).The Carrier holds any bike with a horizontal crossbar (men's style). Bikes without horizontal crossbars (women's style) require a Frame Adapter (sold separately). For shipping purposes the hitch is 90 percent assembled but will require some assembly and a step by step instruction sheet is included. Roof-Mount Bicycle Carriers come in Fork-mount and Upright style. The fork-Mount Bike rack attachment is the one used by most pros. The fork mounts to the rack using a quick locking mechanism and the rear tire is then held in the channel by a quick and easy to use strap. The Upright style carries one bike locked by the frame with both wheels secured. Carrying clamps feature rubberinserts to help protect bike surfaces.
